WBOP PRIMARY & INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL SPORT

The Western Bay of Plenty Principals Association (WBOPPA) is a group of nominated principals whose role is to sanction events on behalf of Western Bay of Plenty primary schools. This enables quality inter-school sport and recreation experiences to be delivered to year 0-8 school students in curriculum time.

The WBOPPA ensures events are safe, inclusive, affordable and fun, and promote a wide variety of activities to ensure every child has access to something that meets their needs and motivations.

The WBOPPA also employs an events director to oversee and deliver the experiences on the annual sanctioned events calendar. The WBOPPA meets every term to discuss the leadership and provision of primary school sport and recreation.
